The scene has the soft, stippled look of bat-printing rather than ordinary sharp-edged transfer work. Stands 7cm tall, dating to around 1900. Good overall, with a fine hairline crack near the rim and some rubbing to the gilt edge consistent with its age. Bat printing used soft gelatine "bats" instead of paper transfers, letting potters lift much finer, softer detail from the engraved copper plate than standard transfer-printing allowed. £19 Delivered in the UK £17 Collect from Kirkby Lonsdale |

The body has a swirled, fluted shape with a small side handle. Good condition with just minor wear, no chips or cracks. Measures 15cm wide. Dates from around the 1920s-30s, judging by the "Made in England" backstamp - Chapmans was established in Longton, Staffordshire in 1916, originally trading under the name "Standard China," and the firm eventually became part of the Royal Doulton group decades later. Would work well as a sugar bowl for a tea set, or simply as a stand-alone trinket or serving dish. £26 Delivered in the UK £23 Collect from Kirkby Lonsdale |

It has a softly scalloped rim, a lightly moulded panel to the centre of the well, and bold blue blooms with fringed centres (which give the pattern its name) trailing across the white ground. A generous 53 x 44cm across, properly made for carving a joint at the table. Minton is one of the great names in English pottery, founded in Stoke-on-Trent in 1793, and later provided the tiled floors for the Houses of Parliament. There's a chip to the rim edge with some staining, and a fine crack running through the moulded centre panel - a shame on a piece this scarce, so do look closely through the photos. Priced well down from what a perfect example of this documented Minton pattern would fetch, purely to reflect the chip and crack. £67 Collect from Kirkby Lonsdale |

The cream body is banded in deep red-brown at the rim, spout and handle, with a row of hand-painted cobalt dots below the neck and a hand-painted cottage scene — thatched roof, chimney smoke and trees — wrapped around the front. The reverse carries the well-known motto "No road is long with good company", hand-lettered in the same red-brown glaze. Watcombe Pottery began in 1869 near Torquay, after fine red terracotta clay was discovered on the grounds of Watcombe House. From 1901 onward it became one of the leading makers of Devon's motto ware, turning out these inscribed souvenir pieces for holidaymakers right up until the pottery closed in 1962 — this jug likely dates from the 1930s–1950s, during the peak of that production. Good condition overall, with a small chip to the spout and light crazing to the glaze consistent with age. The base carries the impressed Watcombe mark. £25 Delivered in the UK £22 Collect from Kirkby Lonsdale |

The slop bowl held used tea leaves and dregs during a Georgian tea service - a practical piece that's often missing from surviving sets today. The pattern is recorded in Geoffrey Godden's reference book on New Hall porcelain. Hairline cracks are present, as shown in the photos, with no other chips or damage. Made in Staffordshire, England, circa 1810-20. A genuine bit of antiquarian tea-table history for a collector or a period dresser. £64 Delivered in the UK £57 Collect from Kirkby Lonsdale |

The transfer-printed scene shows a chinoiserie figure in a wide hat carrying a tray, with a smaller attendant figure beside him, set among flowering branches and framed by a border of white blossoms. Both pieces carry the H&S heart-shaped wreath mark. Hilditch & Son only traded for around eight years, and most of their output left the factory unmarked, so a piece stamped with their wreath mark is much harder to find than the many attributed examples. Good condition for its age, with light surface crazing and gentle staining consistent with genuine wear, no chips or cracks. The saucer measures 14cm across. Made in England, circa 1822-30. A nice small piece of antique Staffordshire for a blue and white collection or a granny chic dresser. £38 Delivered in the UK £34 Collect from Kirkby Lonsdale |

This jug carries the earlier style of Crown Staffordshire backstamp, used before "Estd 1801" and "Fine Bone China" were added to the wording in the 1930s, placing it in the early decades of the twentieth century, most likely 1906–1920s. Measuring 7cm wide, it's decorated with a repeating rust-red floral sprig pattern beneath a double gilt band, with further gilt picking out the rim and handle. Good condition with minor wear consistent with age, including some light gilt rubbing to the rim and gentle staining to the footrim; no chips or cracks. £22 Delivered in the UK £20 Collect from Kirkby Lonsdale |

No maker's mark is present, just a small hand-painted pattern number to the base, consistent with early 19th century production. 15cm wide.
