Very good vintage condition, all four matching, no chips or cracks.

A pretty pair of cut glass bowls with a deep wheel-cut daisy pattern - frosted petals radiating out from a starburst centre, on a flared, gently scalloped rim and a rounded glass foot. The larger bowl measures 21.5cm wide, with a smaller matching bowl alongside.

Good condition with just minor wear, no chips or cracks.

Wheel-cutting like this leaves the cut surface unpolished and frosty rather than smooth, which is what gives the daisy pattern its soft white glow against the clear glass.

A set of 10 vintage cut crystal punch cups, each with a pretty hobstar and pinwheel cut design and a chunky faceted handle. These are genuine lead crystal rather than moulded glass — you can tell from the weight and the way the light catches the cuts — and were typically imported from West Germany from the 1960s through the 1980s, often sold with "24% PbO" on the label as a mark of quality. They're in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Each cup stands 6.5cm tall. Punch cups like these were designed to hook onto the rim of a matching bowl for parties — sadly the bowl isn't part of this set, but the cups make a lovely little collection on their own for drinks, desserts, or just for display.

A set of six glass tumblers, each sitting in its own pierced silver-plated holder with a curled handle - two stand taller at 10.5cm, the other four at 7cm.

Good vintage condition; the glasses themselves are clear with no chips or cracks, though the silver plating shows some scattered tarnish and small spots of rust here and there, more noticeable on a couple of the holders, which only adds to the age.

The metal sleeve wasn't just decorative - it let Victorian and Edwardian hosts hand round a glass of something hot, like a toddy or mulled wine, without anyone scalding their fingers on the glass itself.
