These vivid orange Polish pots are often mistaken online for wartime pieces from Oskar Schindler's factory, but Huta Silesia was a genuine Polish steelworks making enamelware from 1753 right through to 2000. Good condition overall, with a chip and some rust to the enamel on the base that won't show once it's on display. Made in Poland, mid-20th century. Fun MCM colour for a retro kitchen. £36 Delivered in the UK £32 Collect from Kirkby Lonsdale |

Stands 22cm tall. Unmarked. Enamelware was made by fusing powdered glass onto steel, which made it tough and easy to clean - so it became a staple of farmhouse kitchens, camp stoves and canteens right through the 20th century. Good vintage condition, with chips to the enamel around the base rim and the odd small chip elsewhere, showing the dark metal beneath (see photos). The lid fits well. Mid-20th century. A lovely farmhouse-style or cottagecore kitchen piece, great on an open shelf or Aga. £43 Delivered in the UK £38 Collect from Kirkby Lonsdale |

Stands 19cm tall, tapering from a narrow base up to a domed lid with its own little loop handle. No maker's mark. The gently tapered shape made these cans easy to carry balanced on a bicycle or cart without slopping the cream everywhere. Good condition, with a few light scuffs to the enamel and small spots of rust to the green rim edge, consistent with genuine age and use. Mid-20th century, probably France or Central Europe. Lovely in a farmhouse-style kitchen, perhaps with a handful of dried flowers. £39 Delivered in the UK £35 Collect from Kirkby Lonsdale |

It has the angular black handle and a domed lid with a two-tone top. The base is stamped Finel, Made in Finland. It holds around 1.5 litres. Made in Finland, 1960s (the design was made from 1958 to 1977). Good vintage condition. The white enamel on the body and lid is glossy with no chips, but the base has surface rust from years on the stove, and there is staining inside and around the spout. Pehtoori means "estate steward" in Finnish, and this coffee pot is now in design museum collections, including the Cooper Hewitt in New York. A real piece of Scandinavian MCM design for a modern vintage kitchen. £73 Delivered in the UK £65 Collect from Kirkby Lonsdale |

Vintage Mid Century Prilect Travelling Iron Original Tin Box British Made RetroRef 893 A vintage Prilect travelling iron, still in its original red, black and gold tin with "British Made · Guaranteed" on the front and "Weight 2 lbs.… moreA vintage Prilect travelling iron, still in its original red, black and gold tin with "British Made · Guaranteed" on the front and "Weight 2 lbs. 200/250 volts 100 watts" on the side. Inside is the chrome iron, its cream detachable handle, a folding metal iron rest and the original black and white braided fabric cord with brown Bakelite fittings. The whole set appears to be there. Prilect irons were made by T. Price & Son of Aston, Birmingham, around 1948 to 1960. The Science Museum has a complete one in its collection as an example of the post-war "golden age of travel". Folding the handle away let the whole iron pack flat into a suitcase. The tin measures 14cm wide. It has scuffs and small paint losses, a small nick on the front edge of the lid and some surface rust along the lower edge and base rim. Inside, the paint is worn with a few rust spots, and there's an old paper price label on one end. The iron rest is rusty, while the chrome soleplate is still bright. The outside graphics are still bright and clear. Please note: this has not been tested and is sold as a collectable or display piece, not for use. The fabric-covered wiring is original, so any vintage electrical item like this should be checked by an electrician before it's plugged in. £15 Collect from Kirkby Lonsdale |

A good old wooden screw nutcracker: pop the nut in the cup and wind the ribbed handle in until the shell gives. It's turned from a dense, well-figured hardwood (probably fruitwood or boxwood) with a hand-cut wooden thread, and it's taken on a deep, glossy patina from years of use. Probably late 19th to early 20th century. Unmarked, probably British or European. Good vintage condition with wear in keeping with its age: a couple of small nicks to the rim of the cup, a tiny green speck on the edge and a light grey mark on the side of the cup. The thread is crisp and complete. "Treen" just means "of the tree", the old name for small everyday things turned or carved from wood. A nice piece of old kitchenalia for a farmhouse-style kitchen or a treen collection, and very much in the cottagecore mood. £43 Delivered in the UK £38 Collect from Kirkby Lonsdale |
